Where can I get information about aged care?
There are several avenues by which information can be obtained - your doctor, council, hospital, health centre, and aged care services providers. Other sources include Commonwealth Carelink Centres (call 1800 052 222 to find nearest office) or The Aged and Community Care Information Line (1800 500 853). The Department of Health and Ageing produce a range of brochures and information sheets, available in English and several other languages, which you can get by phoning the Information Line (1800 500 853) or on the website.
